ICQA (Inventory Control Quality Assurance) reports on how well we’re following processes in our Fulfillment Centers (FCs) and Customer Service centers. We are extremely customer focused, and analyze root causes of defects to drive improvements. The size of the department depends on the size and complexity of the processes within each site.The Operations ICQA team has two functions: inventory control (IC), which focuses on cycle-counting and related analysis/research to understand and correct any variances in our inventory, and quality assurance (QA), which audits how well we’re sticking to agreed processes and highlights any discrepancies. This team also helps analyze customer-facing metrics.We’re definitely customer obsessed in ICQA. At times our passion for getting something right has meant hand-delivering an item to a customer on Christmas Eve or working with a carrier to organize the special delivery of a daughter’s birthday present for a very worried dad.In Customer Service we analyze why a customer is unhappy and work out how to delight them in the future. That means diving into the detail to pinpoint the root cause of any problem. Then, once it’s identified, we come up with the solution.Across Customer Service and Operations we collaborate with other teams to make the changes. There’s a real sense of cooperation and teamwork as we work together towards the end goal.

Unit ID- Received merchandise, examined and inspected merchandise for wear or defects, reporting any damage and applying trouble to orders in system. Reviewed and record for adherence to policy and standards index; log, and record entry manually by computer into records management system. Destroyed records as mandated by established procedures and document accordingly. Prepared records for storage; scan and apply barcodes to records and sequence data into records management system using established abbreviations and system identification. Arranged documents and records in required sequence (alphabetically, numerically, chronologically by code) and insert any required targets.
