I supervised a unit of up to 10 eligibility workers and 2 clerical staff in Medi-Cal; CalWORKs, CalFresh and Child Care programs. I participated in the training and development of probationary and seasoned staff members, held monthly staff meetings with the unit to discuss and interpret department policies and updates. I held monthly meetings with each unit member to discuss productivity, caseload management and compliance with quality, quantity and customer service standards. I was actively involved in the conversion of old and new cases from previous Medi-Cal eligibility standards to comply with the Affordable Care Act. I am proficient in the C-IV system, Covered California and MEDS computer programs. I collaborated with other supervisors in all aid categories to identify and solve problems. I prepared monthly reports on unit productivity and met regularly with the regional manager to discuss unit activities and address any compliance or disciplinary issues with staff in order to formulate plans or interventions for positive outcomes.
