Motivated self-starter with over 20 years construction experience and highly developed job management skills with a strong drive for success.
I am looking forward not only to the next opportunity to further my career, but also for a new challenge in a career with the Union.
At my current job I have consistently shown the ability to keep a job running efficiently. I am able to effectively problem solve and find any weaknesses and fix them in the most efficient way.
Have been a forklift operator for more than 15 years. In that time I have demonstrated managerial skills by keeping the hod carriers on task and doing what needs to be done to get the job completed.
Joined the Union Local 242 as a Hod Carrier/laborer. In that position I was responsible for making sure the Masons had everything they needed to keep working efficiently and uninterrupted to get the job done. After proving that I was capable I became a Forklift operator and was in charge of organizing the job site.
Started as a Forklift operator for this construction company. In this position I again was in charge of keeping the job site organized and running efficiently. When the company started going through rough times and job security became questionable, I left to go to TMC Masonry.
As a Forklift Operator I currently aid in managing my job site, keeping it organized and moving in a forward direction through communications between myself and the job foreman. I am responsible for safety on the job site and keeping track of the equipment in the field; making sure everything is returned and in proper working condition.
