Additional Information

While working in the Construction Filed i have gained knowledge in the the safety rules of different areas of construction. I have gained some knowledge OSHA regulations. While working as a Police Officer I have gain knowledge on safety protocols for private businesses and government buildings. I have assisted in practicing scenarios in government building's such as Bomb Threats, Active Shooters, Fire Drills and Chemical Spills that effect the environment and people alike. While assisting with these incidents i have created after actions reports to reflect how the siltation went and were we needed improvement in those situations. I also have consulted on these situations with Safety Officers in the past regarding Schools and other Government Programs and assisted in implementing guide lines to follow and polices that were either updated or changed to meet the standers at that time. My time in Law Enforcement has granted me the experience in being a first responded for for over twelve years. While being a first responded i have had training in the Medical Field and do under stand all the police and guide lines that are implemented for the safety of the people and workers. While in Law Enforcement we are trained as first responders to many scenes. Some are related to vehicle accidents with Chemical spills and for that reason we area required to know chemical placards that might be on vehicles to identify the possible threats and contamination to people and the public to determine the proper response to the possible threat.

While Working in the EMS field i have gained a lot of Knowledge about Safety and Security regarding Hospitals and Patents. From my experience i have the under standing of Biological Contaminants and the proper protocols of dealing with either the person or soiled bandages/clothing and other materials. While Working int he Health Field i do know and under stand the purpose of extensive and continues cleaning fo your work area and other areas of the hospital.

With all the experience that i have gained over the years from the many jobs that i have held i understand that need for safety in all work palaces. I have gained the understanding for the need of polices and procedures that cover a broad range of situations from a small infraction to a mass casualty incident. I have learned that there is a need for structured Safety Protocols in any and every work environment. With out these protocols there is a possibly fo more people getting hurt because there is no command presents for the incident at the time or they have not been trained properly in that incident. In additions I do take a lot of pride in the work that i do and in every day activities to not only keep my self safe at work but to keep my coworkers and patients safe from any dangers that may exist in or out of the medical field today.
