Although i am only 19 years old, i found myself entering the work field at a young age. At age 7, i began as a simple paper boy for 'The Free Press' newspaper company in Mankato MN. After we moved to Iowa, i instantly found myself working for my Fathers local Hy-Vee grocery store in Newton, IA. Only 14 years old i had a secured part time job as a stocker and courtesy clerk. Again we moved, to Lincoln,NE this time. My current place of residents. I started up working for my dads new Hy-Vee store. 16 years of age now, i started getting familiar with the cash register and working as a cashier. I am now 19 years old and have worked in just about ever dpt my dads store has to offer. Meat department experience, Customer service, Frozen foods, Dairy backstock, and of course Grocery and general Merchandise. I am still a part-time employee, searching for a full-time job to start bettering myself. I am always looking for ways to improve and challenge myself. I am an excellent listener, and a very hard worker! I work very well with customers, and i always put their needs first.

I have always been amazed on our nations military. As a young adult i entered the "United states sea cadet corps". A military program for kids, prepping them for future leadership jobs and military programs. I participated in the programs 3week "Bootcamp" program and graduated top honors as "Honor Graduate". I was the 1st platoon squad leader all through training. Earning that top award at the end of basic was a huge achievement for myself, and i am very proud. I was the captain of our High School football teams Defense. I lead the conference in tackles and was voted my teams "Most Valuable Defensive Player" 2 years in a row. My leadership skills follow me from the work place, to away from work activities.
Grocery Stocker/Cashier June 2008 to CurrentHy-Vee － Lincoln, NEGrocery stocker/Cashier may be a few of the more basic jobs in the business, but they're among the most important. My job is to make sure all items on the shelf throughout the grocery store are stocked, rotated and up to date. Each item needs to be checked and made sure it has no damages and fits requirements to be sold. Cashier is equally important. Its important to me that all customers feel comfortable at the place they're shopping and always greeted with a smile. This goes for any job i am working at or any company i work for. Customer satisfaction!
