  • Provides Personnel Tracking and Locating (PTL) for diplomatic missions throughout Iraq acting instinctively to safeguard Chief of Mission and Department of Defense personnel and assets during PSD movements, threats on and off the Compound, and immediate action drills.
  • Coordinates daily with Diplomatic Security personnel to safeguard COM assets while providing geospatial intelligence and threat awareness to Regional Security Officers.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for COM alarms providing strategic guidance and analysis to Senior Watch Officers and Regional Security Officers in the Embassy/Tactical Operations Center.
  • Performs regular tests on all PTL equipment and systems such as Satellite Communications Gear, PCs, Software, and Hardware to ensure full mission capable support for all COM personnel, assets, and VIP movements.
  • Handles Cryptographic equipment and Communications Security while ensuring proper handling, accountability, and destruction of COMSEC materials, as well as emergency destruction protocols.
