I attended Baylor majoring in Nursing with hopes of going into the neonatal field. My goals include working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and hopefully one day working at Children's hospital in Dallas, Texas. School work is very important to me and I realize that I need to continue my education in order to become successful in the future. I was accepted into the Louise Herrington School of Nursing, however due to the rising costs of tuition I was no longer able to attend. I enjoy working with people and having detailed tasks to get through in a specific day. I would say I'm an overachiever which can be a major quality and I finish my work in a timely, orderly fashion. I take pride in everything I do and complete any task to the best of my ability. I take responsibility for my actions and enjoy being told the ways in which I can improve myself and the work I output.
I went to high school in Tyler, Texas. I graduated with honors and as a member of the National Honor Society. I was also involved in the Southern Belle Drill Team where I was a dancer and president of Spanish Club. Because of my position as president I had to put together activities and became very skilled in planning things. I always keep a planner on me in order to make sure everything planned correctly.
I currently study pre-nursing at Brookhaven college and plan to either enroll in their nursing school within the next year or transfer to UT Arlington.
