He received an Emmy award for the public affairs promotion of the Oakland Gospel Choir for ABC, and an Emmy for his visual portrayal of The Return To Tule Lake, as well as a lifetime of various other awards. Mr. Claire lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. His work ranges from TV documentaries, numerous Hollywood feature films including Mrs. Doubtfire, Hurly Burly, True Crime and many independent feature films. Mickey is personally committed to projects that involve the human condition and creating change. His work of 8 films with the director Rob Nilsson has brought together a director and cinematographer team who share the unique artistic and conceptual vision that makes Nilsson’s movies icons of the cinema.
