Ramona Junior Fair Marketing Plan. Students in Ag Business Management developed and implemented multi-level sponsorship fundraising plan for Ramona Junior Livestock Show. Developed sponsorship guidelines; printed brochure. Presented plan to RJF Fairboard. Solicited sponsors; printed banners and published sponsorship acknowledgement. Conducted marketing plan for two years. Raised over $30,000.00 for Ramona Junior Livestock Show.
Student-run Cooperative Feed Store. Ag Economics students produced a marketing survey, ordered inventory; set up a small store in feed room. Student-run, after school store enabled Ag students to buy feed and livestock supplies. Class maintained accounts payable and receivable ledgers; produced quarterly financial statements.
Student-run Farm Store. Agriculture students managed 150 hen laying house and raised seasonal vegetables for sale to community. Student-run, after school and weekend store sold fresh eggs and produce to community members and staff. Revenue used to fund field trip with AJ Kawamura to survey Orange County agriculture and food production, Centennial Farms and the Orange County food bank.
Student-run Floral Service. Floriculture class provided weekly floral designs to faculty and staff. Students conducted invoicing, customer service, and delivery. Students also marketed and produced holiday arrangements for sale to school and community and contributed flowers to local nursing homes.
