  • During my sophomore and junior year of undergrad at Albion College, I worked as a mentor for freshman.
  • I mentored approximately 15 freshman students each year.
  • During each Fall semester, I lead and instructed a one hour weekly community meeting with the class in which I addressed different aspects of college transition.
  • I monitored student academic progress, communicating with each student frequently and intervening to assist students experiencing difficulties.
  • I counseled students individually and in group sessions to help promote personal and educational motivation.

Camp Counselor/Swim Instructor - June, 2018-August, 2018

  • I worked as a camp counselor with a bunk of 11-year old girls as well as taught swim lessons during the summer of 2018 at Point O' Pines Camp for Girls in Brant Lake, NY.
  • Each day, I taught seven periods of swim instruction to girls ranging from 6-15 years old. I developed and created different teaching strategies as well as group activities.
