My Engineering Co-Op with Total Petrochemicals, provided understanding of the oil and gas industry and developed skills of data analysis and system implementation. I provided an economic analysis case study on the implementation of new sampling systems to account for mass loss. With TIC Southern as a Project Controls Engineer, I learned the construction process for downstream and midstream projects in the oil & gas industry. I developed schedules and proposals using this process on jobs ranging from 10M to 300M dollars. As a Field Engineer for TIC Southern, I managed and supervised piping crews at the GCGV (ExxonMobil /SABIC) Olefin's Recovery Project. Specifically my scope of work was the propylene & ethylene compressor shelter building piping. We planned and managed the install of 6 miles of pipe into a 170ft by 70ft building. This plant is set to be the largest Ethane Cracker in the world at 1.8 MTA. At this project we installed the worlds largest-land based modules and effectively implemented system based turnovers to meet schedule constraints while construction continued on other local systems. Seeking an opportunity to further my skill set incorporating my degree in engineering and knowledge in the oil and gas industry.
