  • Perform analysis and calculations for soil conditions, concrete design, steel design, aluminum design and select architectural items best suited for project.
  • Perform Critical user review of Designs prepared by third party consultants focusing on ability to maintain, durability, impact to operations and constructability.
  • Develop analyzed conditions into sketches for final design and/or drafting.
  • Supervise and participate in development of final projects including drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure project documents are being prepared in compliance with project schedule.
  • Coordinate with LIRR Force Account to ensure construction problems are resolved in timely and accurate manner.
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and perform periodic field visits to ensure work is being performed in accordance with design documents.
