Work History
Energy Technician, 10/2007 to Current
Clearesult, Inc., ,

I have been a Philadelphia Energy Tech for over nine years. I am gas odor qualified as well as electric qualified, working in several counties during storms and different events such as flood or surge events. I call Philadelphia home because I enjoy the busy work, and the unique electric trouble calls we receive. Every day is truly different. I am a first responder for Peco working with other utilities,  police and fire companies. I'm comfortable working under pressure in unique situations, on nights, weekends and holidays.  I'm very comfortable working on the secondary power lines and the Peco gas system. Trouble shooting is second nature for me, I enjoy the challenge of solving and repairing the issue at hand. I have an excellent understanding of the Peco gas and electric system, and the procedures in place to maintain it safely.

Cadre for Energy Tech class 2016

I have been traing new hires for several years in Philadelphia on the OJT portion of training. I was the cadre for four weeks at Oregon and Plymouth complex training yards. I worked closely with ten new hires going over safety procedures and job procedures. I also had all the new ET's for on the job training, sometimes two at a time due to lack of interest to train. The OJT lasted approximately six months. One new hire whom struggled at sign off was trusted to me to retrain and guide. I feel that I made great improvement with him and he was signed off at a later date.

The 101 Club

I received the 101 Club award for stopping a city tree crew's knuckle on the bucket from making contact to the Peco primary. I stopped the job and assisted the crew with repositioning the bucket truck away from any possible electrical contact.
