Vintech Management Services – 16 Bird St,
Torrington CT 06079
While still currently employed per Diem, my job responsibilities vary. Monthly, I place availability online through a specific scheduler. My supervisors place me in shifts throughout multiple ambulance companies that require additional assistance in filling empty shifts where volunteers are unavailable. My job is to arrive fifteen minutes before every shift, clock in, and do the daily recommended chores which includes a thorough check of the ambulance. Once completed, I am to remain attentive and wait for emergency requests to come in. Once dispatched to an emergency, I respond to the address safely, and diligently, and preform detailed patient assessments and remain constantly alert for and changes that could impede safety within the scene itself. This requires many hours of training and frequent reading to keep the skills up to date and efficient. My co-workers and supervisors would describe me as confident, dependable, and ready to conquer any difficult task thrown my way.
