Exempt Electrical Craft Helper
Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting crew with installation and operation of overhead and underground
systems; gaining poles, framing cross arms, assembling guys, pulling cable and splicing wire. Operating
truck and equipment used in overhead line construction and performing various manual labor functions
as directed. In charge of loading and unloading material, distributing material and tools through hand
lines, dismantling materials removed from lines, loading trucks, digging holes for poles and anchors,
driving ground rods, pulling wires, use of hand and power tools, heavy lifting, working trouble zones:
in extreme weather conditions; all while complying with the safety rules, using safety equipment and
gear, as well as reviewing safety guidelines.
Selected, assembled, palletized, and handled cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of dry groceries/frozen groceries and related products as recognized on order forms, in the quantities defined, for delivery to customers.
• Conducted day by day checks of powered industrial equipment, by means of a safety checklist, to make sure such equipment is in fine working order
• Reported damaged and out-of-stock product to manager
• Used long-tongued electric pallet jack and high-extender high-lift for daily operations
Performedwing spar, frame, door jamb, and skin repairson DC-10 Jets per FAA, manufacturer's repair manual, and FAA acceptable repair methods.
