I have a strong desire to utilize my education, work experience and advocacy skills to assist and support people who are affected by chemical dependency. Having worked the past nine years in the field of domestic violence, I have a proven background assisting individuals in crisis situations. I have extensive case management experience as well as an in-depth knowledge of the legal system, both criminal and civil.
Successfully managed all domestic violence criminal cases for both The Edmonds and Mill Creek Police Departments concurrently which involved a high volume case load.
Provided critical support and resource referrals to women, men and children affected by domestic violence.
Selected as The Edmonds Police Department Employee of the Year for 2011.
Received letter of appreciation for outstanding service from Adult Protective Services.
Served on Child Protection Team for The Department of Child and Family Services.
