Led a joint finance and
accounting office responsible for the accounting, fiscal control and formal
reporting of over $300 million in mission related programs for Saudi
Arabia. Implemented internal controls to
manage $5 million in three currencies and over $25 million in a local
depository account. Led the implementation effort of a stored-value card known as the Eagle Cash Card and coordinated efforts between the
Saudi American Bank and the Army banking liaison officer for the installation
of two automated teller machines. Both
of these actions directly reduced the annual demand for US currency and coinage
by $4 million.

a team of 30 Soldiers and DoD Civilians providing financial services support to
9,000 soldiers at Fort Polk and outlying reserve units in Louisiana, Arkansas
and Mississippi. Initiated a reorganization that integrated
civilians into both the rating chain and into all technical training. Implemented internal controls, improved
customer service and reduced payroll errors which led to routine recognition by
DFAS and FORSCOM as one of the top five performers for military pay accuracy
and timeliness.

providing financial services support to 8,000 joint forces dispersed among 51
remote locations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Implemented internal controls enabling the disbursement and collection of
over $22 million in four currencies. Implemented the Deployable Disbursing System and paying vendors through
electronic funds transfer. These efforts
decreased the transfer and storage costs of US currency in theater by twenty
percent.
