Works collaboratively with Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, district departments, coaches, coordinators, and specialists to develop and implement the district's curriculum management plan, instructional data, and professional development, specifying short and long-term goals, timelines, and processes. Conduct agenda driven PLCs and data digs to create hands on curriculum aligned intervention and practice for small group instruction in efforts to support differentiated instruction for students within various subpopulations such as GT students, ESL students and students that struggle with academics and need intervention. Served as ESL and LPAC Administrator, tracked all student performance data and campus wide progress monitoring. Manage, appraise and model requirements for a team of 6 to 9 reading and intervention teachers across grade levels and also provide curriculum aligned assignments and data tracking tools for student data. Created campus wide literacy Intervention schedules and assignments for small group instruction as a partner with our University of Houston Literacy Corps Members and outside intervention consultants. Success with reviewing student data with teachers and support staff to create curriculum aligned data driven tasks for reteaching according to data review from recently administered assessments given to students. Served as the Campus Data Analysis, Formative Assessment Coordinator and LPAC Administrator. Turn Around Coordinator for TEA School Improvement Plan responsible for responding to student data and tiering students in all grade levels 6-8. Our campus made a 15% gain on STAAR. Responsible for working closely with our TEA IR Representative and maintained our IR Campus Instructional Plan every 6 weeks. Served as the campus Formative Assessment Coordinator to provide assessments and data to each content area on campus. Maintain all campus data and conducted Data Dig PLCs with the So What (Data) Now What (Curriculum Next Steps & Reteaching Assignments). Responsible for creating district level Professional Development and trainings in connection to HISD Curriculum and programs to address student instructional needs according to data and curriculum alignment.
