Summary

As a professional in Higher Education for the past fourteen years, I have worked in a variety of areas including admissions, alumni relations, student activities and most recently in academic affairs as an achievement coach. What I have learned about myself is that the most rewarding aspects of my professional experience is when I work closely with students one on one in an advising or counseling capacity. Additionally, working at a community college has awarded me the priviledge of working in a diverse community with students from all backgrounds including first generation college students, international students, students with disabilities and many more. My goal is to continue working on closing the achievement gap with high school students as they prepare for college or the workforce.
