Plan, direct, and coordinate the operational activities of the Corporate Gifts division of a prominent, family-owned jewelry and gift boutique.  Evaluate and analyze business strategies, existing procedures, and business culture, for the purpose of enhancing corporate customer service and delivering greater profitability.  Manage all aspects of our remote operations and warehousing location.

  • Reduced the sales and operations teams from 6 FTEs to 2, yet still maintained sales and profitability totals comparable to prior periods.
  • Increased profitability over 80% in 2015, and nearly 20% in 2016 (YTD).
  • Increased sales by 15% in 2016 (through Q3).
  • Key contributor and facilitator during the recent 4X expansion of the retail store space.
  • Developed formal standards and procedures for order processing and management, product delivery, client communications, and department operations, moving the company from paper-based systems to a networked computerized system.
  • Planned and directed all aspects of construction and subsequent population of a new $60,000 off-site wrapping and receiving division for the Corporate Sales Division.
  • Developed a new strategy for stock management to avoid inventory outages during periods of peak seasonal demand.
