Works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs. Manages and leads the Health Promotion and Wellness department consisting of over 7 staff members, 8 Graduate Assistants, and 4 student employees. Responsible for managing and leading the efforts related to health and wellness education and programming in support of student learning and development in a higher education setting. Develops relationships, partnerships, and networks within and outside the campus community in order to maximize the resources and ways in which health promotion and wellness awareness can support student success goals. Provides strategic leadership, guidance, and advisement to the University in support of a healthy environment for students, faculty, and staff at Mississippi State University.

Founded, Directed, led and managed the staff and students of MSU's Sonny Montgomery Center for America's Veterans.
Currently serving as a U.S. Army National Guard officer in the Mississippi National Guard. Have served on active duty and the reserve component in leadership and staff positions from the platoon to corps level.
Under the direct supervision of the Army ROTC Professor of Military Science, trained, mentored, instructed, and recruited Army ROTC cadets towards commissioning as officers into the U.S. Army.
