  • Provide training and technical assistance to teaching staff, site directors, and others to support the agency's early childhood development programs
  • Supervise and support Education Coordinators (2) and Site Directors (4) to assure they maintain quality services to children and their families as well as provide trainings as to what that looks like on the site level and agency levels
  • Support teaching teams in their classroom management, daily transitions, and developmentally appropriate practice in their classrooms.
  • Conduct classroom observations monthly to ensure compliance with all city and state regulations, Head Start Standards, and NAYEC accreditation
  • Monitor classroom education folders, portfolios, and GOLD observations to ensure recordkeeping is completed in a timely manner
  • Review, discuss, and reflect with teaching teams on their weekly lesson plans
