I first started in the s30 building. Where I broke polysilicon down to the correct size for the costumer we were working on for that day. Cleaned and maintained cleanliness by wiping everything down before the shift started and wiping hammers, and flag's down as needed.
I was moved to the S430 building a couple months after being at HSC. Where I operated in the crusher room. Bagging and labeling at one of the lines. Plus ceiling, inspecting, sending bags out to ship and breaking down polysilicon to feed the crusher. Shortly after being in S430. I was made the backup for boxing. Where i would inspect, package and strap down pallets. also put together boxes, handled paperwork and scanned pallets in and out of trailers.
I started out as an operator. Where I sat at a machine inspecting pads, boxing them up and putting them on a pallet. As an operator I also operated the slitters, probers, and cutter. I was an operator for 1 year.
Then I was promoted to material handler. Where I got material ready for the production floor. By using a forklift retrieving the material from there storage racks. I cleaned pots, refilled them with material, and mixed pigment in when needed. I changed out empty barrels of material off the pumps. I had to change the paper on the slitters and sharpen cutters. I had to swap out slitters, cutters and probers. When orders ended or something went wrong with them. Plus keeping the work station, pump and machines clean. I was a material handler for 2 years.
After material handler I was promoted to Process Tech. Where I was in charge of Keeping the machines running properly and running smooth. By making adjustments as needed to get rid of bubbles, cures, wets, pad size, and opening and closing pressures. I swapped out molds and barrels with the overhead crane for new orders. I swapped out material pump and static mixers. I took apart cleaned and put back together barrels, nozzles, pumps, and static mixers. I cleaned, repined and put away dirty molds. I also worked for one of the Engineers Greg Cole for a year. Helping Get new products running in spec. I was also trained in lockout tag out. I was a Process Tech for 5 years.
I also did a year in shipping and receiving. I got product ready for shipping. Put away finished goods and got got material down for the production floor. Also used SAP to look up material and creat labels for shipping.
As a carpet installer I measured and cut carpet to size. Rolled it up and put it in the vans. Along with the padding and tac strips that would be needed for the job. I tor out the old carpet and padding and loaded it into the vans. Crapped up old staples and cleaned up the work area. I nailed down tac strips, stapled or taped down the padding. Laid out the carped and cut and seamed together pieces as needed. Stretched and fastened the carpet to the tac strips. Used the kicker in closets and stairs. Trimmed and tucked the extra carpet. Cleaned and vacuumed the work area. Also had to do glue down carpet. Where i had to tar up old, scrap and vacuum the floor. lay out the carpet and cut to size. Fold the carpet half, pore the glue on the floor and trowel it evenly. Unfold the carpet and make sure its even on the walls and repeat on the other half. I also did glue on trim when needed.
Clean room certified. Forklift and overhead crane licensed.
