While working at Jack Stack Barbecue, i started as a dishwasher and worked my way up until i had done almost everything in the store. I was in charge of finding, heating, making, taking, and receiving money for our carry out orders on our busiest day that we would average $70,000 in sales in a single day. When i started and Furniture Deals i was in the warehouse building furniture, putting furniture away, and unloading furniture off the semi trucks. I proved myself as a hard worker that within a year i was promoted to a driver. I was eiger enough to move up i went on my lunch break to get the proper license to be able to drive the trucks. We did not just drive the trucks but a helper and myself would load, deliver to proper location, build whatever the product was we were delivering. We did not use dollies or anything of the sort. We hand carried every single piece of furniture. This would sometimes be items that weighed 200-300lbs. This then lead me to Lowe's Home Improvement. Here I learned how to carry items with shoulder dollies and hook up basic appliances such as washer, dryer, range, and refrigerator. I had to pick up fridges that could weigh up to 475lbs on very rare occasions we would deliver sub zero fridges that could way up to 650lbs. I can adapt very quickly to worker sufficiently but safely at the same time. I have outstanding customer service skills along with being able to problem solve on the fly.
