Summary

Adapting and implementing various forms of policy and procedure are two skills that I hold at high priority in order to be successful in my job, more recently, to provide care, custody, and management. Remaining calm, confident, and well put together in appearance helps portray command presence in my everyday tasks that must be completed, and in most cases helps to prevent seriously adverse and stressful working conditions. Observation, critical thinking, and effective problem solving are all skills that tie into being able to provide the care, custody, and management a Correctional Officer, such as myself, must become familiar and trained in.
