Summary

I have been in Law Enforcement for 22 years and recently resigned from my position. I have worked in various divisions and jails within the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office form booking, housing, grievance & disciplinary, property, classification and worked my way to a supervisory role as a corporal.

I wear many hats as I have learned numerous skills along the way in my life. Growing up we were poor and didn't have much but my parents always made sure we had what we needed. My dad is a good handyman and I learned a lot from him doing different repair projects around the house and on vehicles that we owned. The saying "If it's broke around here we fix it" holds true.

As a young teen I remember talking to one of my friends about starting a lawn mowing business in the neighborhood and he agreed to partner with me. Our parents agreed to let us use the push mowers we had at home. We made contracts so that we could get some customers on a regular ongoing basis, then we hit the street going door to door. I used the money we made to supplement what my parents could afford and bought better school clothes.

At 17 I was working in a small town grocery store were I quickly moved up to assistant manager. I worked hard and showed up every day. I remember my boss being a really great guy and took me under his wing to teach me and help me grow.

I have been investing since 2017 and is one of my favorite things to do. I own various stocks, but my favorite investments are in cryptocurrencies. I was hooked from the moment I read Satoshi's Bitcoin white paper and it clicked that this would be something revolutionary in the world of finance.

I started my real-estate investing journey in 2020. I own a house on 1 acre outside of city limits. I have always wanted a work shop and a rental property so I built a 30'x50'x12' metal building on the other half of my property and framed out a living quarters. My plan is to move into the Barndominium and rent the main house and manage it onsite. I also made an RV site with electric, water, & septic which has been rented for one year now. I am nearing completion of my Barndominum. While connecting the plumbing to the septic system, I made an RV site with septic, water, and electric and have since placed a tenant on it.
