Mounted Police Training

*Wyoming County Sheriff's Mounted Unit holds an annual school. Always 2 to 3 days of training. Formation Riding, Desensitization of horses, Obstacles and Equitation.

*Spring Tune-Up Training sponsored by Livingston County Sheriff’s every spring. Mounted Units from Rochester, Monroe Co Sheriff, Livingston Co Sheriff come together for one day of training. (Certified Instructors) In the past 30

years I have attended all but for a few.

*Every year for at least the past 30 some years I have competed at Hemlock Fair Mounted Police Competition Sponsored by Livingston County Sheriff's
