Collaborate with and
consult all sides of the business (Editorial, Publishing, Marketing, Product) to understand and translate business needs into comprehensive research
initiatives that drive decisions and revenue
Design and execute research that addresses specific business objectives (manage methodology selection, questionnaire development, sampling, programming, data processing, analysis, reporting, presentation to client)
Leverage wide variety of methodologies/analytical tools including satisfaction studies, cover testing, ad effectiveness, concept testing, driver analysis, NPS, market segmentation, usability testing, site redesigns, pricing sensitivity and manage online consumer research panels
Leverage insights to provide recommendations to clients (corporate executives and key brand stakeholders) regarding efforts to drive revenue
Create analytic deliverables that are insightful and visually stimulating, with a strong focus on storytelling
Manage Time Inc. New Product Panel (group of millenials selected by senior management who serve as brand consultants and provide a vital source of feedback on new product development initiatives)
Primary support role for custom research team, participating in all phases of project management, from proposal development and costing to report writing and presentation
Managed day-to-day operations of several projects from inception to conclusion—designed questionnaires, checked survey links, created table specifications, compiled custom report templates, analyzed data for key findings/insights and assisted in report writing
Experience with a wide
variety of analytical methods/techniques including MaxDiff scaling, market
segmentation, TURF analysis, concept testing, pricing sensitivity and survey
methods such as CATI, CAPI, CAWI, CLT, direct mail
Executed research for Mail Monitor, the credit card industry standard for monitoring direct mail volume, response rates, acquisitions and cardholder behavior
Assisted in all facets of the management of a syndicated direct-mail study, from sampling and preparation of survey materials through reporting, media requests and presentation to clients (banks and credit card issuers)

analyses
