I worked closely with four specialty pulmonary doctors and one nurse practitioner daily. Maintaining all scheduling, registering, checking in and checking out patients. Daily duties included, answering multiple landline calls and making several outbound calls to patients, other doctor offices, transportation, insurance companies etc... Speaking directly with my doctors every 20-40 minutes listening and acting quickly and accurately to their demands. I handled all refill requests and sent to correct doctors to be signed off on. I maintained samples from our drug reps and spoke to them daily informing them what we needed and what we didn't. Filing hundreds of faxes daily and accordingly to each doctor along with outbound faxing. Appropriately and privately handling medical records and distributing them to correct people in that department.
