Additional Information

I would like to express to an employer there are lapses within my employment that were unintentional. It was by my choice that I chose to be a caretaker of a father with renal cell kidney cancer, a father in law with COPD, a broken hip, until he passed away and now more recently, a husband with Supraglottic Laryngeal Cancer (Stage III). After being a caretaker with my husband, through all his journey and treatments, I wish to find employment that would bring to life the skills I have experienced in the workforce and share them with a company that is looking for a dedicated, hard worker.

Due to the length of my resume, not all my skills have been listed. Waitressing as a young teen into adulthood for over twenty years prepared me for the challenges of customer service and working with the public. A teacher's assistant job at Norwood Elementary for five years would plant the experience and patience for working with children. Assisting and working in manufacturing offices, filing, answering the phone, and computer entry were helpful in my Supervisory position at Pinehurst Manufacturing.

My main goal is to become a part of the mainstream workforce once again, so that I may provide for my husband and myself, if his cancer should reappear and he will no longer be able to work. I love my hobbies and my painting, but it does not provide the opportunities to benefits that a larger company could provide.
