PROJECT SUMMARY:

With the project “Cartas para o mundo”, the artist created her first work that had as provocation the tale “O coração do menino e o menino do coração”, by the Mozambican author Mia Couto, and explored the children's language; It was presented in 5 (five) public elementary schools, in 1 (one) central square, 1 (one) cultural center and in 1 (one) NGO, from its host city, Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, resulting in a season of 12 (twelve) free presentations. Season that includes 6 (six) workshops generated from the process: 5 (five) in the participating schools for the students-spectators of the show and 1 (one) at the NGO. And as a closing, a chat with the project participants along with the launch of a writing by the artist about the process going through the language of dance, literature and education.

With "Gordofobia", the Grupo Petrichor de Teatro, foresees the assembly of its first work providing professional development of the members in their respective areas of activity and the accomplishment of a season with 6 (six) free presentations in cultural spaces of its host city, Ribeirão Preto, interior of São Paulo. Season that will have as opening, a lecture by guest Gabriela Arces, nutritionist and master's student in medical clinic at USP, about fatophobia, central theme of the work. As a closing, a workshop, given by the group members and generated by the process of creating and assembling the show.
