05/2004 to Current Cardiology pacemaker / ICD Specialist Sharp Health Care SRS Cardiology Clinic | City, STATE, Monitored, interrogated, evaluated cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators from a variety of manufacturers including appropriate reprogramming. In concert with the cardiac electrophysiologist, documented interrogation findings in the patient's electronic medical record. Care also included wound care management on new device implants.
03/1991 to 05/2004 Coordinator Lead Nurse Sharp Health Care SRS Cardiology Clinic | City, STATE, Management and staff supervision in a cardiology outpatient clinic setting including hiring, training, and staff development. Expertise also includes developing managing and monitoring Cardiac clinics including Lipid, Anticoagulation (Coumadin), Amiodarone and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) follow up care.
05/1987 to 03/1991 Registered Nurse Clinical Level III Sharp Memorial Hospital | City, STATE, Intermediate Cardiac care unit adeptly handling cardiac medical and cardio-thoracic surgical patients. Unit also managed Trauma patients including patient requiring ventilator care. Responsibilities also included orienting new nurses to the unit and Charge Nurse responsibilities.
