Case
Review: Enter into cases using our office software and review what is left
to be done. I.E have we taken the deposition of the Corporate Representative,
has opposing counsel filed their answer to our complaint, have we responded to
production, advise paralegal if a motion needs to be draftedā¦etc.Ā

Depositions:
Receive and send out requests to mutually coordinate depositions with
opposing counsel in a timely fashion. Create the notice of deposition and file
it through E-Portal.
Ā
Hearings:
Receive and send out request to set hearings, identify the Judge handling
the case, follow the judgeās procedures to set the hearing (i.e. ecourtesy the
motion to be set, have opposing counsel on the line to receive hearing dates
and physically mail out a copy of the motion along with the notice of hearing
for the judge to review), and create the notice of hearing, file it through
E-Portal and E-Courtesy. Ā Ā

Calendar:
Create all calendar entries for depositions and hearings, confirm all
depositions and hearing 24 hours prior to them taking place with opposing
counsel and court reporters office if one was needed.

Receptionist: Answering multiple phone line, Calling clients for checks,
Scheduling FedEx's Pickups, Physically scan and file court documents into their respective cases, Copy and scan medical files and box dismissed cases, Received mail, Greeted clients, Organized party events, and Coordinate appointments for new clients.

File Clerk/ Assistant: Filed/scanned electronic documents with the court and in our office software, Organized files, copies of documents.
