Similar to Nike as far as the sales experience, only in this role we were 100% commission based. Thorough understanding of the technological world is a must to be an efficient salesperson. At this job I have played many different roles while also exceeding sales goals. I maintain and manage inventory, file customer agreements into individual sales profiles, restock and clean the store and troubleshoot our POS systems during system outages. Aside from selling the customer products, I provide technical troubleshooting and problem solving for clients with equipment/system issues. I have been able to adapt my sales technique as new technology rolls out or if we are shifting focus to a new product. This job taught me patience is a virtue and in the world of technology there is a lot of room for analysis and understanding. Using critical thinking and effective listening to position products for each customer and to explain why this product would be necessary has led to great sales success for me.
