I have coached middle distance running events at the high school level for 10 years and cross country and the middle school level for 14 years. I coached a two time state champion in the 800M event and a state champion 3200 M relay team. At the middle school level I simply tried to show young people that running in nature can be fun and acted as a feeder program to a more rigorous level at the high school. I am not opposed to resuming those coaching responsibilities somewhere else.
In my free time, I like to read a variety of fictional genres. I have also been been involved in some type of
athletic endeavor my whole life and continue life long fitness goals. During extended breaks when I am off of
school and my wife has vacation time, we like to travel with our daughter and especially like camping.
