Accomplishments

I have learned and accomplished a great deal in my 8 years of working with children and adults with special needs. One of my proudest moments to date occurred while I was an Autism Specialist at LifeSkills TouchPoint Autism Services. In this capacity, I was responsible for doing parent training, conducting sessions with clients to achieve goals. On one occasion, I was able to help a client show their ability to communicate with the parents through a picture exchange system. This led to an open door for communication for the family to communicate with their child that is non-verbal. I am motivated, task-oriented, and efficient, and my knowledge of the special needs industry is comprehensive and current. My background in special education and training in special education and Autism would make me a valuable asset to the your organization.
