Utilizing best practices in supplier diversity and community outreach engagement, we have launched best in class business development strategies, increased certification enrollment, and planned and sponsored Mayor Andrew J.   • Business Opportunity Assessment Program – Expanded and refined the consortium of local, state, and federal government staff, business development specialists, and numerous banking and financial institutions, to provide assessments for City of Columbus certified businesses to determine their financial, technical or supportive service needs.
  • Ohio Municipalities Business Conference & Expo – Led the development and planning efforts of the inaugural conference to leverage public procurement throughout the state of Ohio to support the growth and development of small businesses.   • Program Management and Reporting – Administer the supplier diversity program, which includes communications, education, and strong collaborations with across Huntington’s business segments. First quarter 2016 diverse spend increased two-percent over Q1 2015 and a 26% increase in Tier 2 reporting.
  • Supplier Engagement – Collaborating with Business Segment Leaders and Corporate Sourcing Managers to create a robust model for identifying and engaging diverse suppliers in the RFP/RFI process. Successfully increased the engagement of diverse suppliers in the RFP process from 13% in 2015 to 24% in Q1 2016.
