I am currently a college student working toward a degree in marine biology, in hopes to also obtain a minor in climatology. I have a large variety of hands on experience with marine life and diving, which I look forward to expanding in the near feature.

Aside from my work experience, my biggest accomplishment thus far is my internship and volunteered time in South Africa in 2013. I had never been on the opposite side of the world before so I went for this opportunity with a lot of courage. I had never left the country alone, so when I had this opportunity presented, I took it! I traveled to the country not knowing anyone, as I traveled throughout the Eastern and Western Cape for three different programs. I was forced to learn a new way of life and skills. I learned far more than just the conservation and marine work I had originally went there for, which I was able to later come back to the states with a better understanding on what direction in life I wanted to take. In the past I have volunteered trying to help in various different fields for fun and experience as well as a way to give back. This experience taught me life long lessons in which I will carry with me forever. I look forward to seeing what other accomplishments that are out there waiting for me to partake in and learn from.
