Exercises the ability to manage daily operations and personnel within Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE). Manages operations and programs to ensure all AFE equipment is in IAW with all applicable technical data and Air Force Instructions (AFI) to achieve mission success. Maintains consistent communication with REG AF counterpart under Total Force Integration (TFI) construct. Possesses the knowledge and ability to disassemble, assemble, inspect, clean, fabricate repairs, and pack fabric and rubber components, including protective clothing, flotation equipment, and parachutes systems F-22 Raptor and T-38 air frames. Installs, removes, inspects, tests, and sets manual and automatic rip cord release opening devices. Stores, handles, and inspects pyrotechnic items. Load, unload, track, update and verify all aircrew information, equipment, utilizing the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) Program. Able to annotate, track, navigate and verify personnel training utilizing the Training Business Area (TBA) Program. Understands the fundamentals and compliant of utilizing of various tools/equipment to include ANV-20/20 (Hoffman), TS-4317-3 (RTCS-003), CRU-60/P, CRU 122, Joint Combined Aircrew System Tester (JCAST), Aircrew Contamination Control Area (ACCA), Global Positioning System (GPS) Receivers, Aviation Life Support Equipment Tester and the URT-33 series Search and Rescue Satellite Aided Tracking (SARSAT) devices. Understands the fundamentals and able to inspect, maintain, repair/replace components of all Combat Edge Protective Equipment to include but not limited to the HGU-55/P Protective Helmets, MBU 20/P Pressure-Demand Oxygen Mask, Advance Technology Anti-G Suit (ATAG) CSU-23/P, CSU-17/P G-Vest, PCU-15/P & 16P Torso Harness, Aircrew Integrated Recovery Survival Armor Vest & Equipment (AIRSAVE), Attenuating Custom Communications Earpiece System (ACCESS), Passive Attenuation Communication Equipment (PACE) and the Over The Side (OTS) Anti-Exposure Suit. Also able to inspect, maintain, and repair AN/AVS-9 (F4949G) Night Vision Goggles, Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL), PRC 90 and PRC 122 radios.
