An Advanced MSA uses AIDET principles to greet patients, reviews identification, verifies eligibility, check in or out patients in Vista, verifies and updates demographics, insurance and provide parking validation. Also he is answering the phone, assigns new patients, prints the Med Reconciliation slip, and completes the orders in CPRS, schedule consults, marks the no shows for the day and prints appointment list. We complete orders, scanning, consults, appointment management lists, no-shows and encounters daily. We send messages to the clinical staff trough Message Manager which is a convenient method for a veteran to contact the PACT team. It is our daily duty to create and maintain the documentation in order to facilitate an excellent experience between the veterans and the VA staff.
