I work with children on the spectrum using therapeutic tactics and communicating with families and a BCBA about continuing and changing therapeutic processes. Watching and interacting with the child on a daily basis with mostly routine building activities around current or new programs. Taking the child out into public settings such as grocery stores and parks while working on skills needed to thrive when he is out in the community. Plus new trips when parent and I agree to introduce him to something new.
I have done many workshops and online classes over the years to understand more of whom I'm working with. Kids on the spectrum, brain injuries, incontinence and behavioral therapy are some of the subjects I have education in.
