As with any resume objective, the point is to communicate who you are, what kind of position you're seeking, and why're you’re the best person for the job. A resume objective should attract the reader’s attention because it provides the first impression of you. You should keep it short – no more than one or two sentences. Personalize it for every job application and provide concrete examples, if possible. For example, you might cite that you helped your community set up its first wellness program for children.
Finally, consider that resume objectives can work best for entry-level applicants. Those with a longer employment history may be better served by a resume summary.
