Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to apply for the Kitchen Helper position your restaurant advertised in the New Parkland Globe . My goals are to eventually become a master chef and having the opportunity to get in on the ground floor working in an upscale eatery would be invaluable to me. I am currently attending Culinary school and have some previous food service experience.
In my current role I have been working as a waiter which has prepared me for the fast pace of restaurant work. I am hard-working and dependable. I have great interpersonal and social skills and work well as part of a team.Additionally I understand from the advertisement that your chef is French and as an added benefit I am bilingual in French and English. I am able to take direction from others and am willing to help out in any way no matter how menial. If the chef wishes I am able to help prep many French dishes as I am currently studying French cooking and have learned a great deal.
I know I’ll be great as the kitchen helper at Le Bison. I look forward to meeting with you. Please call me to schedule an interview.
Sincerely,
Breanna Wallace
