  • Primary responsibilities include verifying and processing Short-Term Disability (STD), maternity, paternity, FMLA and State leave requests for associates on behalf of the client, Capital One Financial Corporation.   • Processing 20-50 claims and follow-ups per day, responsibilities include requesting and processing medical documentation for verification of each claim. Processing duties include initial screening of each associate, complying with HR requirements, communicating legal rights and compliance standards to each associate, and payroll processing.
  • Accounting and attendance responsibilities require us to calculate salary payments, and send approvals or denials to the Leave & Payroll Management department for payroll processing and disbursement. Certified to handle disability claims in the State of New York under the New York Disability Benefits Law. ERSI compliance reporting on a regular interval.
