  • The Veterans Services office handles over 500 Veterans per term.
  • Hired on as a filing clerk, to file, sort and maintain filing system in place.
  • Assumed added responsibility of helping Veterans plan academic schedules to best fit their needs.
  • Built a database system to better track and manage all Veterans information.
  • Took on full role as Academic Adviser within the Veterans Services office.
  • Assumed additional responsibility of Career Adviser to help veterans plan for post education careers, and how to best transition their degree into gainful employment.
  • Added the responsibility of being a Veterans Benefits Certifier, which takes all Veterans attending school under any of the educational benefit programs available, and communicating that to the Veterans Affairs.
  • This position also involves handling of school credit certification, tuition and fees certification and advocating for Veterans, who need help in obtaining their benefits by advising on the processes involved and the resources available to them.
