I am a 34 year old business specialist, with an incredible work ethic, retail managerial experience, and Operations experience. I concurrently held many jobs over the years, working several night club venues, while attending college full-time and part-time. I have the willingness to learn any trade and multiple skills. I have a high-caliber mindset that has allowed me to advance from an entry-level position in grocery retail, to a management position within a couple years at a very young age. While working in Las Vegas, I was a grocery manager by day and a hospitality concierge by night and proud union member for UFCW 711 & UNITE Local 165. I have been in the grocery business for the last 19 years now, working all aspects of the industry, from a rank and file union member, to operations and store management. More recently within the past few years, I transferred my career path to working for a labor union and I absolutely love it. This is probably one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I am highly looking forward to an environment that will challenge me further, while allowing me to contribute to the continued success and growth of UFCW 3000, and will allow me the ability to apply my skills and experience to a growing Union. I want to be provided with the opportunity to meet and exceed assigned goals within the orginazation of UFCW 3000. I want to help breed success in this organization, and to help coach and develop others to do the same.

My experience at Fresh & Easy was an interesting one, considering I took the position knowing that Yucaipa Companies Owner 'Ron Burkle' had purchased Fresh & Easy from the English grocery chain 'Tesco' and they had already filed for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy and the CEO 'Jim Keyes' was on his way out, with a plan to liquidate the company. I ended up providing bottle service to Grocery entrepreneur Ron Burkle at one of my nightclub venues, while he was celebrating his purchase of the Fresh & Easy markets. I explained to him that I worked in the Grocery business for my day job, and without going any further into the conversation, he offered me a position on the spot. After ironing out the details and compensation for the role, I accepted the position. Below is an explanation of my responsibilities in that role;
I jumped ship in 2013 for what I thought was going to be a better employment opportunity with Kroger, at Smiths Food & Drug. I left Albertson's & Von's, due to the possibility of losing my job from the Haggen re-branding and initial start of the cerberus purchase of Supervalu companies. This was a very short lived position, before I accepted my offer at Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Maket. Below is a bulleted list of some of my duties in this role;
VIP, LIGHTGROUP/ LIGHT Nightclub Mandalay, Bay I have worked many venues here in Las Vegas However, Light-
Group has been one of my favorites. I worked with some of the best customer service representatives in the world and Had the time of my life. At Lightgroup, we checked in celebrities on a guest list and venue driver app. We made sure that they booked the trip that they were looking for, provided excellent customer service and guaranteed the greatest experience ever. Tables on a glass floor over looking a mezzanine, fire pits, glass floors, bottle service, cirque du soleil performances you name it! Whatever you wanted to do in vegas we could make it happen! I worked with Ladies & gentleman that had been in the hospitality industry that were 5 star world renown hosts, and traveled the world in their positions. I learned as much as I could from them and incorporated that with my customer service skills in the grocery business. There have also been a couple other management groups that owned several different venues that I worked at. Those groups are Angel Management Group (AMG) and Pure Management Group (PMG). I worked at these venues concurrently part-time in the evenings, while also working in the grocery stores in the day time for a period of about 6 years. Below is a bulleted list of other nightclub venues located in other hotels that I worked at;
followed by a series of many other venues within the same management companies where I also did part-time security as well, and became an expert at de-escalating disgruntled and inebriated clients and customers.
Attended 7 months of training on ‘Effective Organizing Training Modules’ facilitated by former UFCW International Regional Director & Former UFCW 21 Organizing Director Joseph Earleywine.
I attended both Las Vegas High School/Academy & Sunset High School Concurrently, as well as many other high schools during the summertime for honors courses and extra credit to inlcude;
