Led training team of 21, plus 60 shared resources, overseeing development and implementation of sales and technical training programs, both online and classroom, for 5 business units in 15 countries. Successfully managed $2M training budget. Selected contributions:
•Conceptualized, developed, and implemented localized eLearning education solutions using the latest trends and technology, including sales skills courses, podcasts, and mobile applications.
•Designed and implemented comprehensive certification program for overseas sales force, launching it within six-month deadline, contributing a regional sales growth of average 9% while saving $ 800,000 in travel costs.
•Developed and rolled out web-based training that enabled distributors worldwide to receive much-needed training, drawing on existing online training content to create customized web learning solutions via co-branded web portals. The program improved relations with distributors.
Led development and deployment of strategic product education and global training initiatives across two continents. Built strong business relationships with in-country technical and customer training specialists, commercial sales managers, and executive leadership. Selected contributions:
•Proved instrumental in revamping program measurement system from Level 1 to Level 3 evaluation (with some Level 4 and Level 5 components).
•Identified need for ongoing local training in Latin America and pioneered design and development of two industry-leading educational centers in the region. Developed business case for the centers, won management approval, and oversaw construction and launch of the facilities.
Implementation of the centers resulted in:
•Recouping the investment to build the centers within 1 year of operation;
•Drastic increase in annual student training days (from 86 to 22,500 days in 5-year period);
•$80,000 in savings for service calls due to better-trained engineers;
