Summary

I am a highly educated and detail oriented applicant. I found a way to conquer all tasks that were thrown my way despite the fact that my former boss Ariana Chen left ShipBob almost a year ago. I handled payroll, attendance, recruiting, write ups and more. I work really well with the team here in Cicero. I also helped keep our team's spirit high in Cicero when we went through two unfortunate tragedies that occurred within the in April and May of 2021. Associates felt comfortable enough to confide in me and tell me how they really felt about the tragic situations. I fell in love with ShipBob during both the positive and the tough times and I know that I will thrive in the new role as a People Ops Generalist if the opportunity presents itself.

  • Promoted to become a senior rep within 5 months (Typically takes 8 months).
  • Began as a Business Development Representative (BDR), BDR’s are the first line of contact for the customer and we felt the customer out to see if they qualified for any of our products and then we convinced them to consider talking to an agent if they qualified for any of our products.
  • I ranked as number 3 out of 60 BDR’s based on business I brought to the company during my first month at the position.
  • 2nd month I was the top BDR out of 60 and I received a $250-dollar bonus as a reward for such an accomplishment.
  • 3rd month I was promoted to become a BDR2, which meant that half the day was spent being a BDR and the other half of the day I was granted permission to sale life insurance and close the deals.
  • I was the only one from my incoming class of 5 to get promoted so quickly.
  • I was also one of only two people to get promoted to that position in July, 2015.
  • I excelled at this position as well, after one month of being a BDR2 I led a group of about 20 BDR2’s in sales.
  • My expectation was to bring in $8,000 first month as a BDR2 and I brought in $14,000 worth of business to the company instead.
  • After one month as a BDR2 I was the only one from my BDR2 peers to be promoted to Junior agent in august.
  • The Junior agent position meant that I was no longer the first line of contact, it meant that I was asked to close deals the entire day.
  • I took about 10 inbound sales calls per day and was asked to bring in $20,000 worth of business to the company that month.
  • After two months as a Junior agent, my success convinced management to move me up to the highest-ranking sales position which is Senior Agent.
  • I was the youngest Senior agent in the office when I got that position.
  • Now my duties were to take about 20 inbound calls per day and close at least 15% of them.
  • I was also asked to bring in $25,000 worth of business to the company per month.
  • I met my numbers and won thousands of dollars in sales contests.
