  • Implemented and utilized SCRUM/Agile development methodology for the delivery of the product on .NET technology utilizing AJAX for the UI. Major objectives for this project were to move the product off the desktop to the internet, implement an architecture that will allow for configurable workflow and system settings based on clients using the product. A SOA was created to handle high capacity and high volume of users.
  • Managed the product upgrade for an external client in a major release of item banking software package. Coordinated internal staff, selected external staff and managed hours and rates against a $3 million budget. Initial phase involved upgrade of existing software base to VB6 as well as implementation of entire new reporting and logging subsystem using .NET technology. Directed the process, managed a team of 15 employees; six internal software engineers, three architects, one lead business analyst, an external consultant, a hardware engineer, network engineer, Oracle DBA and a SQL DBA.
  • Responsible for the closure of Salt Lake City regional office. Interviewed existing staff and consultants, determined who to retain and whom to terminate. Migrated all systems hardware back to St. Paul. Planned the migration from existing production hardware to new hardware in Baltimore data center. Drove the move of the applications onto the new hardware and the relocation of existing hardware to St. Paul to become new development environment. Put in place corporate standard hardware infrastructure with localized development environment and integration (BIL), QC and production environments in Baltimore.
