Started working as a Floor hand in 1989. I worked floors for approximately five years. My duties included but were not limited to: assisting crew members, manual labor, like lifting and carrying heavy loads, and odd jobs on the rig, including cleaning the rig and equipment. Depending on the company, you will either learn on the job or complete formal training. Nearly all floor-hands. Received Health and safety training.
